50" Philips TV Convergence

Unregistered guest
I have a 50" Philips Tv and the color convergence is all messed up. It is a 2002 model. Could anybody please tell me how I can go about fixing this. I am very mechanically inclined. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not a TV repairman but maybe I can help you with some where to start. I had this same problem on my 52" RCA and the repairman replaced the regulator (part:STK730-130)on the convergence power board (total cost $190.79 - $38.85 for parts, $1.94 taxes and $150.00 Labor). This fixed my problem for a little over a year and now I am having the same problem again. One other thing, look at the picture/screen, does it have an hour glass appearance? Mine did and this seemed to help in diagnosing the problem. I have posted my convergence problem (today) under RCA convergence problem...AGAIN...HELP, keep a watch on the post and maybe someone will help us both with our convergence problem...Good Luck...
