Can i remove macrovision from liteon lvc9006 dvd recorder

was wondering if anyone knows how i can remove the macrovision on my liteon lvc9006 dvd/vhs combo recorder, i tried the firmware update and hack that works on other models of liteon dvd recorders but does not work on the 9006
