I bought a new sony hdtv and went to charter cable and got the dvr hdtv box. It came with 5 wires I have it hooked up but now my remote that came with the cable box dosen't work. How can i hook this up so my remote will work
You have to code the remote control to your Sony TV. There should have been an instruction booklet with the remote to tell you how to do this, two options remain 1~ See if somebody on here that has charter knows the code set up sequence for a Sony
2~ Call Charter customer service and see if somebody can walk you through it over the phone
