Poor Picture Quality on Analog Stations With Cox DVR

I just got digital cable for the first time. I have a Motorolla DVR from Cox. Before I had basic cable running directly into my television and the picture was great. Now the analog stations are not the same picture quality. I am using a S-video cable. I wanted to know if I went to a standard digital cable box (not DVR) would the picture quality be better on the analog stations. Thanks for your help.

Just run a 2nd RF cable from a line splitter into the antenna input of your TV. You will then have all the clear analog channels from that input and be able to easily use your remote to switch back and forth from your digital DVR input to your analog input.
