Posted on Saturday, July 30, 2005 - 12:53 GMT I was in Best Buy yesterday and saw a Magnavox 50" DLP. Don't know the model number. It looked nice and the picture looked as good as any of the others. It also looked pretty expensive at $2,999. Any opinion? |

Posted on Sunday, July 31, 2005 - 11:19 GMT I'd pass on ANYTHING magnavox. I get more returns on their products than anything in the Home Theater Department (aside from the Philips DVD player). For 200 bucks less you can get a 50 inch Samsung DLP or the new JVC H-DILA (which comes with a stand no less!) both of which I'd argue sight unseen are better sets.
