I have an Upconvert DVD Player from Toshiba, works great! I chose it over the similar Samsung becuase the Toshiba has a media card reader and I have a Harmony Remote so remotes are not an issue. Both the Toshiba and the Samsung models come with an HDMI cable and this is the connection you MUST use for the upconvert to work (although you could run the HDMI to DVI with an adapter or hdmi to dvi cable I suppose)
