JimmyH Unregistered guest | I've been reading reviews of every kind of DLP and LCD known, but can't make up my mind on which one to purchase. I would like to spend no more than $2500.00 on the one I decide to buy. Can someone please help? The model I'm leaning towards is a Panasonic 50" LCD Rear Projection HDTV Model# PT-50LCX64-B. I'm mainly wanting one to watch football on. Thanks for any advice. Heres a link to the Panasonic --> http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=3880834&cat=4561&type=19&d ept=3944&path=0%3A3944%3A133276%3A3996%3A4561 |

JimmyH Unregistered guest | Which do you recommend, DLP or LCD? Forget the Panasonic issues. |
Anonymous | DLP, of course! It's all done with light and mirrors. A new lamp will always result in a like-new display. The display is made to last decades. Lamps are more reasonably priced at $195. Refresh rates are quicker for fast action scenes. Displays are brilliant with perfect color. Pixel spacing is closer. No Screen door effect. Displays come in larger sizes from 42" to 71". The 720P's are fantastic, but the 1080P's are coming soon. Any "R" series Samsung will please!
