I purchased a Sony KF 50WE610 and have problems with the buzz when trying to turn it on, (buzz, no picture, no sound. Sony help techs said I needed a new lamp. Purchased and installed it myself. Three weeks later the same thing happened. Talked to Sony help techs again. They refused to admit that they are having problems with this model. I currently have the set in the Sony repair shop. The lamp I installed is bad. They put in the old lamp and said the set was fine. They are looking for any other problems that are causing the problem. What a disapointing situation!!!!!!!!!! After spending about $3000.00 for the set and another $200.00 for a new lamp, Sony should be admitting something is wrong and should rectify and reemburse for this.
