Can the owner replace the bulbs in the tv's or is a technician required? Does it depend on the make and model?

I know Samsung bulbs are customer replaceable, and in fact it is covered in the owners manual. 10 minute job or less. Ithink that most others are as well.
The JVC bulbs are user replacable. 1 thumbscrew loosens the speaker grill. 2 more thumbscrews hold the lamp in place. It takes about 2 minutes tops to replace the bulb.
