Just got a nice DVR with a 40 gig hard drive. Had to hook it up using an RF Modulator because of my older analogue tv. Here's the problem. It works fine, but, my signal seems to be about 1/2 second slower than the other tv's I have in the house. This meens when I walk from one room to the other, if I have the same channel on, there is an echo effect. If someone say's "Hello" on the tv not connected to the modulator, I'll hear "Hello" on the tv with the modulator 1/2 second later. Doesn't sound like much of a big deal, but it creates a very nasty echo efffect in the house. Does the modulator empede the signal as it converts? Thanks.

the delay is caused by the DVR "buffering" the signal to the hard disk (short term recording that allows you to pause, rewind etc)prior to playing it on the TV.My Directv Tivo does the same thing.
