Hi, i recently purchased a samsung 5063w. The set works great except one night all of my non 480p components stopped displaying on the set.
My ps2 won't display unless a game is set to progressive scan mode using component cables. The odd thing is that games were working fine using the red, yellow, white cables. I pulled out a game and put another in and the ps2 would no longer display. After this happened i checked my dvd player. Same thing. Dvds don't display unless progressive scan is turned on.
Not only that but my standard cable from comcast stopped working in the ant 1 slot.
The ps2 is plugged in via the red, yellow, white cables and the dvd player is plugged in via the composite (rgb) cables.
My guess is somehow the tv was set to another mode? Is the tv not doing some form of signal conversion from 480i? Does anyone have any insight on this?
