I am a Dish Network Sub.with a HDTV--Model 811 receiver. I want to know if a Magic card would work with this receiver. If not what card would open all my channels? My receiver did not even come with a card from Dish network. Hope someone can help. THANKS

Dish provides an access card to all it's subscribers. Perhaps you forgot to send the check into dish and actually become a paid subscriber.

The 811 apparently doesn't use a card - everything is built in. There appears to be a slot for one, so I dunno what's up with that, but there's no card in my receiver and I'm still getting channels.

Since Dish recently sent out new cards for their systems (yellow ones to replace the old blue ones) will the magic card still work? My reciever is an old one I've been using for about 10 yrs. Where is the best place to buy a magic card?
