I just got Comcast digital cable and I want to program my boxes to skip the channels I never watch - like QVC, Public access, etc. I don't want to lock them, I want to not see them at all. Is there a way to program the system to skip these channels when surfing?
I have a Motorola box for the HDTV system and I think a General Instruments for the regular TV.

Not on the Motorola box with Passport software. If you live in Washington State they have a version of Microsoft software with which I am not familiar but the rest of the country has Passport.

the comcast system has "favorite channel" selections that you can program into your cable box from the menu screen.
