Samsung DLP Cable question...

I have regular cable hooked up to my Samsung DLP without a cable box, and whenever I change channels it takes a second for it to come in right. First it appears fuzzy and comes in mono, then after 2 seconds it goes to normal. Is this supposed to happen?

Yes!

It's taking the signal and boosting it.
Personally, I think cable sucks!

Samsung makes an SIR TS360 Direct TV/Terrestrial receiver that will wake that DLP up like you have never seen. HD is stunning and many prime time shows are HD now. Off air digital network broadcasts picked up with an old style uhf antenna look awesome and they're free. Satelite standard def looks much better too. The TS360 combines all programming on a single guide. With a good home theater 5 channel receiver you will be in Home Theater Heaven. Now...that's a set up!
