Has anyone encountered a random lock up problem with a Panasonic DMR-E100H DVD Video Recorder?
The remote and front panel becomes totally inoperative, usually after playing back from the HDD for some time, but it also happens when recording to HDD. It's totally random, can go days without a problem and then can happen several times in the space of a few hours. Very irritating. The solution is to re-boot by either holding the power on'off button on the front panel for 10 seconds or more, or disconnecting the mains input. Needless to say, Panasonic tech desk is next to useless (if you can get through).
