i just got an emerson EWF2704 tv and the tv screen is slanted. you can really notice on the wide screen movies. anybody else have this problem with there tv? please somebody help me
Exchange it (or better yet, get another brand) for a new one. Doubtful Emerson would provide user adjustments for this problem. Consider an inexpensive Toshiba, Panasonic or Sony-or even a Sharp or Sylvania. Better off leaving Emerson alone, in my humble opinion.

I recently noticed the same problem with a Sony KV-36HS420 at a local store. The set was an open box item, and I wondered if it had been returned for this reason. Later, I noticed on Sony's website a feature for this model called "Tilt Correction". I went back to the store but could not find any such adjustment available from on-screen menus. Is there a hard pot for tweaking such tilt as is found on older PC monitors?
Maybe a service technician can solve this for you. But (and I intend no insult here) the service call might exceed the cost/value of the set. Take it back while it is still warranted.
