I know how to create the chapters , However: 1) Is there a way to name each chapter? 2) After I have recorded from the hard drive to a dvd-r and have created chapters is there a way to see all of the chapters when you initially read the disk other than going to the Direct Navigator?

1) No 2) Sort of, you can skip ahead to each chapter mark using the remote.
It sounds like you want to create seperate titles on a single disc. In that manner you are able to create seperate thumbnails for each chapter.
The Panasonic E-100 might do what you want but the E-85 will not.

After your other post I feel you may be calling Titles chapters. You can name each title after it is recorded but not chapters.
