I cant decide which one of these sets to buy. Both look amazing in HD and are Ok in SD. On the DLP's i dont see the rainbow effect so that is not an issue. I'm just looking for pros and cons of each one.

Personally, I don't think you will go wrong with either set. I own the Mitts 52725 and am very happy with it. The issue that swayed me to DLP was screen burn-in. Articles that I have read state that LCD tv's will develop screen burn-in and that DLP tv's do not. This becomes an issue when watching non-HD channels that have the black bars on either side of the picture. I do not like the looks of the picture when I stretch it so I always leave it in 4:3 ratio when watching the non-HD shows. Second, you can replace the bulb of a DLP when it burns out and still get a great picture for many years; however, when the LCD burns out and from what I have read it will eventually, you have to replace the entire light engine which is more costly.

Just my thoughts, good luck.
