Component video or DVI-->HDMI ?

Hello....I recently purchased a Denon DVD 1910 and a Samsung HLP 4674. I heard on a CNET under user opinions that the Denon "goes great with Samsung DLP televisions." I am assuming that they used the DVI-HDMI connection as opposed to the component video. Can anyone shed some light on how drastic a difference in PQ I will see if using component instead of DVI-HDMI? Thanks...

Also, anyone in Sacramento have luck with off air local HD channels?

I just bought a Toshiba 62" DLP TV and paid $120 for the DVI to HDMI cable and saw absolutely no difference. I switched back and forth between my Acoustic Research component cables and the Monster DVI-HDMI cable while looking at an HD cable signal. I seriously saw no benefit. Took the HDMI cable back and saved $120.
