Thanks in advance for any help on this.
Have HDTV- a roof top mounted UHF/VHF combined antenna. Avg. of 14 miles from transmit towers for local HD channels.
Antenna pointed by compass heading from internet site.
Picture is great when it works but still get lots of freeze frames and square blocks (pixalate?)
The internet site that I got the compass heading from had a question if there was an airport, hills, trees, towers etc.
There is an airport, Austin Stauable in Green Bay WIS. that is about three miles from us. Can this be our problem? Is it their radar that's the problem or just there radio communications? Will a UHF only antenna help? Will a FM filter help? Will a pre-amp at the antenna mast help? Thanks again for any help on this. Gary

A little more height. A little turn to the left or right. A motorola signal booster perhaps. Play around with it. I doubt it's a aircraft or crossing transmission of a more powerful signal.

No filters. It probably is the planes themselves causing reflections. Surely it's nothing else.
In analog terms it would be called 'airplane flutter'.
