I have comcast digital cable with a motorola DCT6400 series high-definition receiver with DVR. My TV is a Sony 51" rear-projection widescreen HDTV. The comcast tech was pretty useless with setup. I have only the simplest of instructions for the receiver. Can someone tell me how to set up picture-in-picture? I don't care if the second signal is analog, it's better than nothing.
I added an HDMI to DVI cable and that made a big difference in picture quality on HD channels. The analogs are pretty good, some of them are a touch grainy.
The comcast tech ran a single connection from my DVD/VCR straight into the back of the TV. While that works for playing, I don't think that will record, no?
