I would like to hook my Playstation 2 up to my XGA DLP Projector (component cables) but have heard mixed reviews when PS2s are hooked to HDTV rear projections units. Should I worry about "burn-in" or is this only a rear projection or crt issue.
DLP does not have a "burn in" problem like rear projection and plasma sets do so you will be OK. Im hooking my Xbox to mine.

This is true. The DLP chip has millions of tiny mirrors that are constantly moving, regardless of what's on the screen. This all means that a picture can't get "burned in". PS2 with component cables on DLP is a marriage made in heaven. =P
