I bought a Samsung HLP6163W 3 weeks ago from Best Buy. Up until last night, I was very happy with it. Last night, the picture developed an intermittent flicker in brightness. It is almost as if the projection bulb was brightening and dimming at about 5 cycles per second. It would do this for a while, then stop. Then start again. It did it on all the different inputs whether interlaced or progressive so I do not think that it is the de-interlacing circuitry.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I need to decide quickly whether to return the set as the 30 day period will expire next week.
