I have been enjoying all the comments for the last couple of months about the ongoing issues about the new Sammy 5674 and I am now ready to weigh in.
I had mine delivered a couple of weeks ago and have it set up to deliver optimum performance.
Purchased it at Magnolia for $4000. No negative comments to report. It is everything it is supposed to be. No significant A/V sync problem although I admit to be looking for it after reading all the feedback from you guys. I tried to access the maintenence menu but could not using the code from SSGenius. Anybody know the correct code?
I am using the DVI connection direct from the Sammy to my DishNetwork receiver with perfect results. I wish the Sammy had two DVI Inputs to accommodate the DVD player and the Satelite receiver so I had to settle for component connections, again directly from Sammy to DVD.
The DVD's are better than ever with the HDTV and I can recommend this setup to everybody that can afford it.
I'll be sure to report any problems if they occur.
