I have a 66" Hitachi rear projection HDTV, its model #61UDX10B. The tv is only 3 years old and about two weeks ago it now display a blue like ghost image on screen. I checked the cable to see if there is a problem with the cable, however when the tv is unplugged you can still see the blue shadow on screen. Also the blue ghost image can be seen when watching DVD's and VCR movies. Is there anything that can be done to correct the issue????? I would greatly appreciate any information.

It sounds like you need an ISF calibration performed, or at the very least the convergence should be adjusted. Have you recently physically moved the display? If so this likely caused your problem.
Some units have an suto-focus feature. If yours does give it a try and see if this helps.
