I have one. It is good HW, but it generates a lot of noise because of the fan under the HD. Replacing the fan cancels the warranty. I will do it anyway. Everything else is great.

hi there. u can get the pvr 800 on ebay. with or without the hard drive.

I,ve just bought one on ebay and am unable to set up the tuner. The menu which appears on the screen doesn't correspond to the one shown in the (pidgin english) user manual. The HDD appears to be already formatted as I have been able to make a short recording (of the menu) but can't get any channels. The source is set to tuner. Can anybody help, please?
