Calibrating Mits DLP

I have a Mitsubishi WD52725. The only setting that I do not have at 31(middle) is contrast, which I have at 55.

Do any of you have any recommendations as to what settings are optimal? I currently have the color temperature at normal as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan, I have the WD62725. Mitsubishi has the contrast level set on maximum from the factory to make the picture look good on the showroom floor. The contrast level and color temperature is somewhat personal preference and also depends on the ambient light level. The brighter the ambient light, the more contrast you need. Just remember, the higher you crank up the brightness and contrast, the harder your bulbs have to work and the shorter the life span.

Ryan,
If you really want to fine tune your set, check out the thread, "Calibration DVD."
