Bookshelf Speakers for Marantz 7400???

Can anyone recommend a good surround sound speaker system for the new Marantz 6400/7400? The room is small, so I have no choice but to go with a bookshelf-size speaker set-up.

Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated.

This one sounds as good as Bose cubes for a lot less.

Bestbuy sight has Athena AS-1B - front and back (2 sets) and a center. Add a sony sub - sa-wm200 (www.etronics.com). This system sounds good on music as well. Try to hear it - you will like it.

Finally, ascend acoustics has a package which won many awards - they cut out the middleman, and deliver more quality for the buck.

Thanks James. I've been considering the Boss Accoustimass 15 series II, but from what I've read, some seem to think the Boss aren't all that great.

I also should mention that this system wil be used as my primary stereo system.

Anyway, thanks again for your help.

I have the Marantz 7400 and run ADS 250 LCR across the front: left center and right. I use the Carver Sunfire True Sub Jr ( a 9" cube" for the sub woofer and I actually use two of the Bose Acoustimass 5 tiny swivel cubes for left and right rear. Wife said nothing could show. It took some fine tuning but I got it working pretty well for regular music. I'm firing it from a 5 CD changer through optical digital cable. I also run the Cable music through it with digital optical cables. The Marantz can handle 6 optical audio inputs! If anything the sub is a little too powerful, I run with it dialed down. The ADS speakers took some adjustment through the Marantz set up screen to get them balanced. All in all you can make the bookshelf size sound good for music and movies.

BTW those opinions above are just my humble thoughts.
