We have a RCA Guide+ Gemstar and this morning when we turned it on, the sound was good, but the picture was bowed in at the top and bottom of the screen and it looked like watching a 3-D movie without the glasses - words and people had like a 'ghost shadow' behind it. Or, you can read the words, but they are duplicated either behind or below the actual words. How can we solve this, or do we just need to get another tv?
It look like the convergence eprom chip, call a repair man, the part cost under 15$ then he need to realigned the convergence in the service menu which is very difficult for a newbie!
