I have a samsung dvd home theater system ht-ps8 and an rca lcd flat panel hdtv. I don't have a cable box, just the cable cord coming from the wall straight to the tv. I'm wondering how I can get surround sound to play through cable tv? I'm at a complete loss here!
I'm not sure what the optical out looks like, but there is nothing labeled optical out on the tv. I currently have the red and white audio connected from the samsung to the tv and all i get in surround sound is dvd's. What will I need to be able to have regular cable work with my surround sound? Thanks
