My current set up is:
Amp: HK AVR 3550
Center: Kef IQ6
Fronts: Kef IQ7's
Surround: Kef IQ5's
Sub: 10 inch Polk audio (dont remember the model)

My problem is that I want to move to a 7.1 setup but I dont have the room for two more larger speakers. Am I able to mix in 2 small speakers like bose or something along those lines..

I'm open to suggestions.

Mike hi,
forget about bose what size you want?
tannoy hts 100 are good.....[2]
orbs on this page
canton small speakers are good.
kef make a smaller satellite

small boston acoustics are nice cs23

the list goes on and on..
plenty of speakers superior to bose

but I would also upgrade my reciever if I were you to denon avr 1910 reciever 7.1 with plenty of hdmi's

and decent audioquest speaker wire
best bang for the buck.

thanks for the advice. I was worried at first about mixing the speakers. Will that still be ok?

I would like to keep them as small as possible as I dont want them to stand out. I was thinking of having them for the center of the room on the side walls.

how are about finding just 2 of these mike in black on side walls with no base
you can email kef for a local dealer to special order a pair in your area

and about mixing speakers....

front speakers are much more important but at least these are still in the family.

front timber matching along front walls is really important but since your going 7.1 I would see if you like the way these look cause they would blend in nicely.
