Can't get the components hooked up. The closest I came to success was could get sound through all stereo speakers when the receiver was on DVD setting but I could not play the radio as only got static. I moved the receiver a few inches and now I cannot get any sound and still no AM/FM radio through the receiver. Plus now I have an Unlock code appearing in the message window of the Receiver. HELP as I am totally frustrated.
Unlock code search online for the manual of your sony receiver. No cable box Mike? if no does the panasonic tv have a optical out? if not then left and right audio out into sony. No hdmi thats ok.. bluray has digital out connect a digital coaxial cable or optical cable from the panasonic br into the sony digital in on back of reciever. that will play blurays and dvd's and cd's and your gonna need an am antenna and a seperate fm antenna for the sony.
Having a Sony product not play well with other brand components sure comes as no surprise. Connecting it may well not be intuitive but it can be done. If you run through Vince's list above and supply a few details and turn it up really loud perhaps I can even hear you!!!
