Hi guys,
I am trying to get a brand new home theater speaker system and dont really like what the dealer is pushing. I would like to check with you if this makes sense.

Receiver -- Denon 3808 CI (already purchased)
Speakers -- planning to buy:
Fronts: B&W 683
Center -- B&W HTM61
Subwoofer -- B&W AS610

For the surrounds I would like to get advice on:
a) I like the specs for B&W 685 but they are monopole speakers
b) I am also open to B&W DS3. They are dipoles (with a monople switch) but have a limited freq range in dipole mode.
c) The dealer is recommending B&W DS3 for sides and B&W 684s (floor standing) for the rear.

What do you think? Aesthetics is not the issue. It is a dedicated Media room approx 14'X18'. I will be using it primarily for movies.

Any other suggestions?

It looks like you are going to have a nice set up either way. Not knowing any thing about the room I would sugget the DS3'S for the sides and 685 for the surround backs.
