I'm leaning towards purchasing the Pioneer vsx1018AHK receiver for my home theater set up.
Anyone ever used
Pioneer receivers? Are they dependable?

Are 3 HDMI inputs going to be enough for you?

My old Pioneer Elite VSX-27TX is still plugging away just fine, in fact if it would fail I might actually be able to finally upgrade the technology!

Of course that is just one example.

It looks like a very good receiver. You could probably find something comparable for less money. The reviews on the video processing look really good and from what I see it does full 1080p upconversion and does it well. It has anything that you will need and probably a even a couple that you don't know you need :-) Not a bad choice! You did not mention any plans for the future on components that may need HDMI input?

Here are a couple of examples of a similar products at a lower price.
