Hey guys I have a quick question. JVC just released the most powerful home theater called TH-M505 it has 1000 watts. Did u all get that? I said 1000 freakin watts. Then on the other there is a "newcomer on the block" called ONKYO HT770. My biggest question is: which should I get? the Onkyo HT770 or the JVC TH-M505? Please help me to decide which one is DA BEST!
the jvc is considerably less expensive than the S770. ~350 vs. ~499. that being said, you can't really compare the two. the S770 doesn't come with a dvd player and is a MUCH better system than the jvc. you get a true receiver with the onyko and much better speakers. as far as price is concerned, you'd be better off looking at the S760, which is more in the price range of the jvc. it also does not have a dvd player included though. sounds like to me that you'd be happy with the jvc. the onyko is head and shoulders above the jvc, though.
