HELP PLEASE LG DA-3620 SET UP

I have just got 5.1 LG DA-3620 i can get surround sound watching dvd but not from tv my tv is acoustic solutions LCD 32762HDF I dont have a video player just samsung virgin media set top box and xbox 360 ive tried putting the red white n yellow wires diffrent ways just getting nothing please help thankyou

Greetings,

Please try taking the red/white audio out of the Set Top Box (STB) rather than the TV.
