Posted on Friday, November 28, 2008 - 13:58 GMT A store around me has many Bose lifestyle systems on 50% off sale. I am considering getting one. A few questions: a. A number of you in these forums have stated that Bose is over-rated and expensive? WOuld you say the same if I got it at 50% off? b. If I were to get the bose, I'd like to know which one should I get - the classic lifestyle series (48,38,28) or the V series (V30, V20, V10 etc.) The V sesries comes without the DVD player. Is it worth paying for the DVD player? Or should I just get my own? |

Posted on Sunday, December 14, 2008 - 16:05 GMT I will spare the economics lesson (like just because it is 50% off...) but ANY purchase like this has to be led by your ears. Whatever the brand and/or cost if it rocks your socks off and you have a chance to audition several models and brands of equipment and Bose is right for you then the 50% off (probably refurbished) looks pretty attractive and there is no one here who can say that buying something that makes you happy is a bad purchase! |

Posted on Monday, December 15, 2008 - 03:53 GMT ya ok jim your ears is only thing that matters I agree.. but what is he or anyone tone deaf? listen to something good over average and his ears will know.. the question then is has he heard anything that fulfills value in terms of sound quality? and I think best bang for the buck.. theaudioguy.ca |
