I would like to record programs from my DVR to my DVD recorder through my television,but have been unable to get the appropriate connections.My cable company only carries digital above channel 70,so to record above channel 70 I have got to use the cable/DVR.The cable/DVR is a Motorola DCT 6400 with only one(1) output which is selectable at startup only.I would like to route the DVR signal through the TV(Toshiba 56MX195)so as to simplify remote control activity.I am using composite output 1 on television to input 1 on VHS/DVD recorder(Panasonic DMR-ES35V).I know that this connection will probably cause me to have to have the TV on during recording,but at the same time will allow me to pick and choose portions of extended broadcasts(Barret-Jackson Auctions)Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thankyou!
