Ok, my roommate is moving out, it's his receiver. He has a Denon 1804, we both like it. However, I just want to see if anyone else has any suggestions.
I have the following speakers which are mine and staying.
Center = Klipsch SC-1 Right + Left = Klipsch SS-5 Rears = Klipsch SB-1 Sub = KSW 10
Prodominatly used for Movies and Video Games. Occasionally music.
Please recomend a receiver between $350-450

I have the Marantz SR8300 with the Klipsch Reference series all around (RF-35, RC-35, and RC-15's as rears) and it sounds awesome. As you will read on many of these posts, the "warm" sound of Marantz is a good match for the brighter sounds that Klipsch produces. I hear great things about the NAD stuff too, but there seem to be some quality issues. I have always been a Marantz guy dating back to my first 2230 stereo receiever in the '70s. Worth the money if you have it!
