Rear speaker crackling noise

kerdis
I have a Pioneer HTD-520dv system and everything works great except the two rear speakers (surround sound speakers). When watching anything in 5.1, they emit a constant crackling noise which gets louder as the overall volume increases. However, if I use the "virtual surround sound" on my receiver, sound comes through crisp and clear. Because of that, I dont think I have a bad set of speakers or bad wiring. Any help? Thanks.

I have a similar experience when I play audio CD on 5 channel stereo/Dolby prologic II. I have a Bose AM 15 connected to my Denon AVR3802. This distortion of surround comes only after about 30-40 mins of play. I have raised (hell)on this issue with Bose Corporation. My AVR + Bose AM Module is with the bose's local dealer authorised workshop for the past 2 weeks. I have been contacted by GM, Bose Exports, UAE and the matter is still pending resolution.

Once I have a possible feedback/resolution from Bose, I will revert with the actual cause which may be helpful.
