Are Cables Important?

I purchased the Magnavox 37MF231D/37B 37" Widescreen LCD HDTV a month ago. It works great, but I am having problems with Comcast On Demand. When viewing the Info Screen for a Premium On Demand Program, the screen cuts on and off. They came today and replaced the cable box, but the problem persists. Can this be an overload of data being sent through factory cables? Would getting Monster Cables help?

It does not sound like a cable problem. Monster cable is not always the answer there are better alternatives such as Straight Wire Super HDMI cables

I am using the RCA cords that came with the TV. Could it be the TV itself? They replaced the Comcast receiver today and it didn't help.

Try generic cables. I don't think its your tv though. http://www.mycableshop.com
