My friend had a new Bose system installed by Magnolia. The system only has S and Composite Video outputs. They supply a short wire with S and Composite out to three RCA jacks for a Component Video conection. He had a blue only picture but said it did work when first connected by Magnolia. I just used an S-video jack to getting going. What about this? Is that connection even possible? Why would we need receivers that convert to Component Video?
