My home was pre-wired with regular 16 gauge speaker wire for my sub. My powered sub and receiver both have RCA type inputs. Can I adapt the ends of the regular speaker wire with RCA's to plug into my sub and receiver. Will this work OK??
My sub is an Athena M225 which comes with the Athena micra 6
It should work OK, but if the run is long you may experience some interference. If that happens you may want to get shielded cables and experiment with the sub placement.
