I cant remember what the actual name of my sony amp is but it has the option to change the speaker setting to high or low for my surround sound speakers. They are about a metre above my head when i am sitting and watching a film. Can anyone help to choose what setting to put them on?
are you speaking about elevation or frequency range? if it is the family of sony receivers in the STR-DE895 series then I believe it is elevation. Low and high settings are in general, relative to within ear level when in the listening position. Anything above is high and vice versa.
