Posted on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 - 20:57 GMT I just got a Sony FX80 HTiB for my Philips 42". It has the HDMI out and I have it to the HDMI in on the TV. I also have a Scientific Atlanta digital cable box/dvr. It has 2 A/V outs and s-cable out. Anyway I have 1 of these outs straight to my TV (using RCA jacks and the S-cable )and the second going to the video in on the Sony reciever. Everything works except getting sound through the speakers while watching TV. Any suggestions?? |

Posted on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 - 18:58 GMT Sorry, The "video in" on the received has the L-R audio and video plugs. It's listed as video 1. I only have the audio from the cable box to it but still nothing. My TV has a "source" button to switch between. Maybe that is where I need to fiqure it out. Any suggestions?? Thanks, Tim |
