Anxiously awaiting my new reciever and sub. Given there are so many experts out there, maybe some of you can tell me what can I expect from this entry level system?
READ the manual, before going to a forum asking, "How do you...?" Set it up. Turn it on. Put any media you want. Enjoy!

Yeah enjoy. But when you go to hook it up take your time to compare the manual to the equipment so you understand (Rear pics). Remember everything is color coded and labeled you just hav to take your time.
Thanks - and no, don't worry, I won't clutter up the forum and waste time asking for how things hook up before I read the manual. As I'm so anxious, I already downloaded the manual from Yamaha, so I'm already up to speed on some of that. Re-configured my DVD player's settings last night in anticipation of today's arrival of the receiver.
