Hi to everyone. I have been looking at ceiling mounted surround speakers they seem a bit expensive for what you get, I was wondering if you could use car speakers. You can get really good quallity even 3 way speakers for abuot half the price. I was only thinking of getting 2 way speakers , if any one could help please let me know. Regards Neville
Most car speakers are 4 ohms. Not a lot of home receivers can handle that type of load. If you want a receiver that can handle 4ohm speakers you may end up spending more money on the receiver. So you really won't be saving any money.
