Ok so as far as home theaters go im a noob. We just picked up a 42" Hitachi plasma tv, Onkyo av reciever, polk 5.1 system and yet to pickout a dvd player. Im currently designing a liftmechanism and cabinet enclosure for all the componets. The back of the Hitachi has the "IR Mouse" connections for controlling up to 4 componets. My question is...if I connect the reciever to the back of the tv and the dvd player and what not to the reciever can i still control the dvd player and other componets using the ir mouse connections or will i have to plug each componet directly into a seperate channel on the back of the tv.
