So I have a 4340 with speakers on the side. I dont want to go buy a surround system with a DVD when I have one already. I want to use the side speakers on the 4340 then buy the center woofer and rear speakers separate. My Hdmi DVI cable supplies vid and sound right now. So can I run the optic cable from my TV computer unit to a reciever for surround sound; then connect the speaker wires to the reciever? So many questions!
