I currently connect a Panny S77 DVD to a Panny SA-XR70S AV Receiver, which further connects to a Panny AE700U projector all via HDMI. The DVD PQ is awesome. I also currently connect a Cable STB via component and TOSLINK to the AV Receiver, which further connects to the Panny AE700U via component; HD picture quality is pretty impressive via the component feed when converted to either 720P or 1080i.

However, I want to connect all the devices to a HDMI switcher (with room for expansion, e.g., PS3 with HDMI out), then connect the switcher via HDMI to the receiver, which will terminate to the AE700U via a 23-foot HDMI cable.

Does anyone see any connectivity problems that may manifest since I want to switch audio AND video to the receiver and then video only to the projector? Also, I've read good posts about Gefen's latest 4:1 HDMI switcher, but has anyone heard of Octavia's 4:1 HDMI switcher?

Thanks.
